Just found my results from when I tested Markjay's cheapo Tech2 on my 1998 MV6 a couple of years back
Engine
X30XE - YES
Gearbox
AR25/35 - NO
Chassis
ABS/TC - NO
Cruise - NO
Servotronic - YES
Height Control - N/A (not fitted)
Body
Immobiliser - NO
Airbag SAB6 - YES (could reset errors, but not read codes)
Instrument - NO
Add-on Heater - N/A (not fitted)
ECC - NO
Central Door Locking - N/A (not fitted)
ATWS - YES
Seat Memory - N/A (not fitted)
Sunroof - YES
HID Levelling - NO
Infotainment
TID - N/A (not fitted)
MID - NO
CAR300 - N/A (not fitted)
CAR400 - N/A (not fitted)
CDR500 - N/A (not fitted)
CCR600 - NO
CCR800 - N/A (not fitted)

I had slightly better results.
Using the demo version of "My Naff Code Reader" however, gives much better results than the software that comes with it.

does anyone have a valid sourcecode to this cheepo tech 2 software? i wouldnt mind getting hold of it and purchasing a cheapo t2 and having a play!

It is not free software, sells for £400, so can't see the source being available.

that hungarian one off ebay is just a cracked BETA then?
