When does your reserve fuel light come on? i.e. how much range do you have remaining on average. Reason for asking is since mine is an Opel, with the odometer in KM, my light comes on with around a 50km range. However in the UK I am sure it is with around 50 miles to go. Obviously in miles you get a lot more warning. Just an observation.

My range starts flashing at around 30 miles (31 miles? :-/) the flashing light isn't always consistant.
If I lived in a country where it was only pennies a litre I'd fill up every other day! ;D ;D ;D ;D

But the thing is, behaviour is no different to in the UK. You still drive around nearly empyting the tank. OK I do try and avoid the light from coming on, but still an inconvenience to have to fill up.

And when it says zero ...... they lie, have had a few vauxhalls with the "range" thingy and when they get to zero they will still go..... not good i know but handy to know all the same

if i park on the kerb and the car is leanin slightly my car wont start if the range is lower than 15 ok on the flat :'(

ive done nearly 2 miles past the zero, mine usually goes red about 30miles i think. the range has never let me down yet. :y

my fuel comp message comes up at 30 miles left, light comes on shortly after.
having drained a tank that was at this stage when breaking a car, there was about 12 litres left in the tank. the fuel light itself was not flashing tho.

Or fill up with just enough to do the daily mileage and keep it out of the red...and make up the fuel weight you'd saved by always carrying a few sacks of spuds in the boot. ;)
