How about a MK1 Golf gti?..I saw one at Santa Pod not so long ago that was twin engine 4wd. That would be a project and a half.

Or you could always bring my elite back to its former glory ::)

Mark one Astra GTE.  Getting quite rare and the ones left have been well chavved up.  Be nice to see a genuine one saved....

Think what else had Imp engines - and what are the alternatives?

A short stroke 1600 on twin Webber 40DCOE?

A 2.2l slant 4 16V?

I know where one is! Well.. 2 infact + millions of bits, would all be sold as a job lot together. (Located in York)

They are stripped down to the shells. Dont know much about them though, but can find out if your intrested.

AFAIK theres enough bits to rebuild one astra, plus a LOTS of spares. :y
