I need to pick up a saloon rear door from elite pete......will it fit in the back of a saloon on a slant?
For some reason I am finding this dificult to fathom!
I'm regretting asking this one already :-[
-
I'm taking a wild guess at yes - lengthways across the seats and into the footwell should do it. :y
please note I have absolutely no evidence to back this up.
-
measure the door and work it out, easiest way round it and then you will have an answer
-
It will fit if you put it sideways :y
I've had a wing, rear boot hatch and many other things on the back seat of the saloon ;D
Door should also fit in the boot itself too ;)
-
Or.....buy an estate ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
fold it in half should fit like a glove after that

As expected, ask a stupid question ........... ;D
-
wind the window down and it will fit..... :D
the answer is NO, cos the tunnel in the car cocks it up.
you might get it to go in the boot if you fold th seats down and put the window frame end in thru the opening into the rear seats.
failing that, stick the roof rack on ;)

Take some tools and fit it there and then ?
-
a small hammer and needle nose pliers, nock the check strap pin out, and pull the door pins out, unplug wiring at bottom of post, and swap over, then kindly leave your u/s door with pete to get weighed in along with the rest of the stuff he has :y
-
It will do in as i've cut it in half to get it in the boot of the MX5 ;D
