Title: Its Alive.........well sort of!!!!`
Post by: ScottieMV6 on 28 January 2009, 17:27:42
Well its taken 2 weeks working 3 hours a day (when it doesn't rain) but I started the miggy up today and she started first time!!!

I did the cambelt (with a little help), cam cover gaskets, spark plugs, hbv change, oil and filter change and air filter change. Seems to be running quite nicely (although I can still smell burning oil when stood at lights etc.).

The one disappointing thing is that the cabin is no warmer (obviously wasn't the HBV (thought it was worth changing though while I had good access to that area) so I am back at square one as far as heating goes. :'(

Any suggestions??

disconnect both pipes from the heater in the engine bay(2 quick release connections going thru bulkhead drivers side) then put garden hose in the bottom one and flush till clean water comes thru,i flushed thru both pipes, bottom one for 2 or 3 mins then top 2 or 3 mins
