Ahhh bugger, failed on o/s handbrake. another job to be done.  >:(

if my car failed on that  id be pleased  as its means i wouldnt have a huge bill to pay to get it a pass

mine ran out yesterday, i have been checking everything over and its booked in on monday so cant drive till then, god knows if it will pass or not. fingers crossed

According to TB .. most handbrake problems are caused by people NOT using them ... seems this causes them to sieze up/stick etc .... :(

So .. if you have an auto ..... don't just use PARK ...  use the handbrake as well .. thats what it was designed for !!!  :)

It won't cause the handbrake to wear out ... the shoes can't "wear" if the wheels are not rotating !!!!!

Its my fault really, i suspected the handbrake needed looking at. should have done it b4 the mot. looks like i have a job to do in the morning then b4 i go off to LK`s.  :y

I never use the handbrake ,but mrs Bitz drives the car once or twice a month and always uses it coz she was taught that she should,so that seems to keep things moving freely. :)
