It never missed a beat, going back where the road becomes dual carriageway, and foot down. My god it pushed me back into my seat.

Had a digital dash on a GMC van many years ago. I liked the fact that you could swap from miles to kilometers, from C to F, etc. I can't understand why there is no such button on the Omega's MID?

Never driven those, bit old for me  ;) ;D

For me the digi dash is retro cool. Including the ariel that poppes up out of the back wing when the radio is turned on.

How cool is that!  :D

That is called an electric aerial Tunnie!  ;D

You youngsters won't have seen these as you will just know about these new fangled bee sting things and the others integrated into the rear screen.

Im amazed it still works tho....could of been replaced i guess .... they were forever going wrong/getting jammed.

You could add another on the other wing.....iirc some of the older Jags used to have two leccy aerials...not sure quite why tho..apart from style  :-/

fine, unless incorrectly/poorly aligned, and some one shuts the boot while the aerial is up.....

crunch, one snapped aerial.

(my wife. bless her, snapped 3 of mine (1 on senator A , 2 on senator B's ) until  i sussed out how to get them to miss each other )

nice car Tunnie....   even WITH a digital dash....  ;)....  I'm an analogue fan at heart..... ;)

Ah yes BUT, in my opinion, the reception from a proper aerial is FAR better than the rear screen ones.  At least it is in my experience.

Talk of aerials reminds me of a Tommy Cooper classic.

"Two aerials met on the roof and fell in love.  The wedding service was rubbish but the reception was brilliant!"  ;D ;D

The old ones are the best I reckon.
