Title: In Easy English, how do I set up an MSN account?

For my daughter. Tried this once before but could not get it to work :-[

So I have signed up. How do I get to the chat bit? don't seem to have a link as such. so want to throw this laptop out of the window >:( >:(

You have to add other folks msn addys.When you open messenger & sign in a list of of people you've added will show.To chat you right click on the name of person to chat to & a menu comes up showing ways to interact with contact,click on whether instant message or email.
Hope that helps.
But make sure you've downloaded the messenger bit.

But add to where? I am not getting the page that thekids get when they go on and no link like we have on main computer.

Do you have a windows live folder in your start menu now?
messenger lives in there.

And may i tell you how is the weather in your country today...its very fine here may i tell you..

Right a bit of a development, I can link to the front page, put in password but when I click on sign in the page dissapears ::)

eh, nope :-[ I now have a link in my start bit ;D but when I try to sign in the page goes, I get a little blue man with a red X near the clock, but when I hover over it looking for info it just goes as well.
All this is really for my daughter so that she can chat to a couple of other members children ::) ::)

You can start messenger from in there, it should pop up a panel where you can login to messenger.

I dont think you are in messenger when you are doing that.
