Where's the engine??? ;D ;D ;D

I had a two tone green one of these on a 1965 C reg when i was 17. T&T clean & shiney i bought it off an old boy at work for £70. His family bought him a "newer" Daf33 as they thought the Victor was too big for him!!! Used to cram loads of mates in it, never let me down. Used a strip of meccano to reverse the polarity to fit a radio cassette!
Happy days & i've still got a big old Vauxhall. 8-)

Yup. used to have a hi ace pick on the column. Some Corsairs had them as did the Renault16, Ford Thames Van, Saab 96 & more. Probably the reason they never caught on was the slow change & maintenance of the many bushes in the linkages which if worn made it hard to find any gear.
Certainly fun to drive, something different, i'd happily have another. :y

Wow. nostalgia. Always loved the 375 hi line Consuls Forgot the Mk3 Zephyr4 i had when i was 18 (1982 i think), column change, maroon, grey leather, 1700 pre crossflow straight 4. The reg. was FLY something C. It did'nt fly by any means but i loved it! 8-)

My Mum and Dad had a two tone green 101 F reg (1968) estate from new. I remember it vividly. The interior was grey. Funny how looking at those pics flashes back details I did not realise were still in my head. Parts of the dash, the door handles, ash trays and window winders. Wow

We once put a 3.3 Ventora lump into a PA Cresta- it got about 100 metres down the road before the axel disintegrated :o
