Post by: VXL V6 on 08 February 2009, 20:14:26
Just a quick note of thanks to Mark for updating the Engine, Gearbox and Climate ECU's on my replacement Omega.  :y

Oh and for the jump start  :-[

Thanks Mark, your help (as always!) is much appreciated  :y

Oh Yes.... feels like being back in my old car  ;D

Actually it was good to drive an Omega with earlier autobox software for a little while - makes you appreciate what a difference the update makes.

Incidently can you remember what revisions the three ECU's were before you updated them?

Gearbox was v3 (now v8)
Climate was v1 (now v2)
Engine I cant recall (its a 3 or 4 digit number so harder to remember), the update was cruise related.

It is easy to forget how clunky the gearbox is without the upgrade..
