there were a couple registered as late as 2005 on a 54 plate, that one could just be a 53 plate

ive been looking at a lot of sites, loaqds and lods for sale, but not many over 2.6litre, have seen no 3.0 or 3.2 elites yet

Think i've seen a couple of 54 plates travelling about in the truck but doesn't necessarily correspond with year of manufacture. By then they were end of range cars so Vx would've been getting rid of the last few sat in the showroom.
     As said "think" i've seen 54 plates but wouldn't put money on it!!!.

I saw a 54 plate for sale on fleabay the other night ex plod i suppose...
