Title: DIY - Knight Rider
Post by: mkaminski100 on 10 February 2009, 12:52:29
Bit smaller but who cares. "Michael, we have a problem" :)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MODIFIED-CORSA-INCLUDES-PRIVATE-REG-MONSTER-LIST_W0QQitemZ300292634500QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item300292634500&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A7%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1307

Including "monster" 1.2 engine...whic must be in deep pain, as you can hear on the video.

When there's something wrong, there's always a good explanation. I like to read all these funny stories about dogs/sisters/brothers/fathers/buyers/garages/police etc that made it work wrong. And it's always dead easy to fix but 99% sellers don’t have enough time to fix it, as it's a quick sale.
This one is a good example how with few thousand ££ you can screw your car completely...

Have been involved with the motor trade over the years and spent quite a while as a valeter listening to why people are selling thier cars, so forgive if I dont believe the good explanation bit, they are after all trying to sell a car.

Sounds to me like he/she/it has completely screwed up the dash loom:-

Quote: "Bad points
-Speedo not working, forgot in which order front speedo drive wires suppose to be in (rest of display works in images)
-Gte clocks indicators wiring to be done. Forgot where to wire these.
-Clock in middle works when side light and full is on. I think it needs to be replacing because it was fine first."

I love the description of all the tacked on crap but no mention of when the oil, coolant etc has been changed

Quote "Full ice not included", not surprised, you'd never start the thing with that lot bodged in with his/her/it's (quote) "Full thick wiring kit"

Personaly i think this is funny as hell.........

I had this car for project work and finish to hand it over to my sister, but she likes golf so i bought one and for myself i'm a family guy and need bigger car like Mercedes, Range rover, Chrysler or BMW, depends what type. I dont want to let it go but dont have any choice neither.

Yeah ok sunshine you really sound the type too be able too afford a range rover (rover 25 maybe) or a Merc.

What a complete cock....no doubt one of Kents finest. ;D

Bloody hell
Hold on a mo
Under his "performance mods" listing, it amounts to a K&N filter & a split exhaust
On a 1.2 ;D
Halfords must love it when this guy walks in.

I have a cunning plan, I'm gonna buy it, then bury it in the ground & see if it grows into a 3.2 elite :y
