at least they could make it a shire horses which would be more british, not a lipitzana [i hope ive spelt that right!] that are bred in former yugoslavia [cant remember what part!], also by saying this tw*t is a turner prize winner make a difference?, or did he invent the horse as a species!!! >:(

Would be nice if this was a windup, but sadly.......Why?JUST Why? :-/
I like quite a range of different types of "art" but the "lets blow something up out of all proportion therefore altering its context" idea is a bit old hat now, and in the current economic climate to boot....

A waste of money for sure, but it's better than the runner up proposals at least!

If they have to have something with a horse theme then fair e'nuff, let's have something abstract and arty, a proper sculptured work of art...and yes, a Shire would be much better.

Don't get me wrong, I was riding not long after the midwife slapped my @r$e. My family bred horses and we'd have around 30 horses at any given time so I've nothing at all against it being an equine theme, but something that looks like a huge fibreglass life-like jobbie as shown in the photo is going to look so tacky.

Dunno about a white Horsey, shouldn't it be a white Heffalump?

Apparently it is to be as pictured...a lifelike white Thoroughbred.  Nothing arty, just a huge model. Visible from 60 miles away.

Talk about a blot on the landscape.  >:(
