Title: Not all news is bad

 Well I have had some good news today as some of you may recall I recently regained contact with my daughter (well  I say recently it was a year ago in October time flies )
 Things have been going well between us with a few hiccups  :(
 But today I have been told I am going to become a grandad in
August , and I am over the moon not that its sunk in yet  :D
 just hope it all goes well for her  :)

Thank you I think lol I am only 44 wait till my mum finds out she will be a great gran and my nans are both going to be great great grans  :y

I have now seen the first scan picture , must say brought a tear to the eye very very proud grandad to be  ;)
 Question would you want to know the sex of the baby  :question

I prefer not to know.  Of three grandchildren we knew the sex of only one of them beforehand - much more excitement leading up to the birth if you don't know what it is.  And for the mum-to-be a nice surprise at the end of a lot of hard work!

Didnt want to know for our 1st,
we did find out the 2nd, in terms of if we needed to buy pink, or wether the blue would do  ;D

i had to know what mine was when liz was pregnant, so many girls in my family, couldnt cope with one myself. great feeling having you first child, watched the 2nd birth by video phone from the pub  ;)
