Title: day light robery
Post by: nick v6 on 12 February 2009, 16:12:37
bare with me on this a bit of a long read

i was stuck in traffic on the way back from picking the daughter up and i watched this bloke walk up and down the same bit of road afew times looking at a pot hole in the pavement which i thought was very strange

there was a few workmen around as they are just building some new house's

this bloke walked away from this pot hole in the pavement stopped and looked round all over the place and turned and walked towards this pot hole and he stepped into the hole and fell forward clearly not an accident

he starting screaming in  pan and the workmen and a few people in cars in front of me jumped out to this t**ts rescue

all the people round him helped him to his feet and the t**t took his phone out and took a photo of the pot hole in the pavement and then pretended to limp away and round the corner.

here's the best bit

i finaly got out the traffic and had to go round the same corner where this t**t had the biggest smile on his face and was walking normal

i bet he goes home and gets straight onto the phone to one of these claims company's

Which ups the liability insurance for the council, and thus increases expenses and council tax ::) ::) ::) >:( >:( >:(

I'd be tempted to contact the council and inform them of what you've seen... Perhaps even offer to be a witness ::) ::) ::)

People like that really grip my sh!t >:( >:( >:(

I heartily agree!!  Give the council a description of the man, and a statement of what you saw, which I would also report to the Police as you have no doubt watched a 'crime' in progress. >:( >:(

The other side of this coin is that many councils are so stupid that they pay out more in compo claims than it would cost to fix the potholes which give the opportunity for the claims in the foirst place.

There's a pothole in my road that is just begging to put some poor cyclist/motor cyclist in Hospital let alone where an unsuspecting car driver could end up if caught unawares >:(.
