Title: Had the plodder out for a run today...
Post by: PaulW on 12 February 2009, 20:27:39
It's not been ran properly for atleast a year, so had a lil run out earlier...

ABS/TC is also working again, I cleaned the sensors & rings on the shafts at diff end, so fingers crossed it will stay working!

According to the MID...

138 Miles
Average 10.9MPG
12.6 Gallons of fuel used

:D

Thats going some...

I can manage under 10mpg over short distance - say 30 miles, but not over 130 miles!

Mark - Aye, just a bit of a grin still!

My excuse is the throttle was a bit sticky & needed freeing up a bit...  ::)

Plus there was quite a bit of white smoke initially when running (guessing from the new exhaust or something) but since its relaxed drive  ::) the white smoke has all but gone :)

coolant level is fine, oil level is bang on & breathers are all nice and clean  :y  Just wish the ABS would stop playing about still... (I've updated the post in help about it)
