Thanks to everyone in the forum thats helped with providing information on how to fix the Omega. Unfortunately, I've decided to break it - nothing major has happened, the straw that broke the camels back was the bad handling and radiator started leaking.
Its a shame because I have done so much to the car:
Stainless oil cooler
Heater matrix
Serviced every 6k
All new suspension
New discs
New EGR
And thats just a few on the list...
I've bought an Alfa Romeo which has a few niggles but nothing large - its a totally different car to the Omega so will take some getting used to.
Will be breaking the car over the next few months however who knows what may happen next, would like a newer facelift 3.2 at some point.
So this is me, punching out... the journeys been great! :y

Sorry to hear of your problems and that you are breaking a miggy ... :'( :'(
The two points above don't make sense to me ... :( Did you have the suspension PROPERLY set up after changing it all ... as in a full geometry check by someone like WIM ???

You will need to fill the alfa up with oil as often as petrol

I know mate, sux huh but really left with no alternative. Yep, full geometry setups using manufactures spec and also used Marks. I'm pretty sure the steering box has gone, have about 2 inches of play in the steering...
Just cant keep punting money into it :(

Would seem that way although the GTV is cool - had it in bits today, much easier to work on :)
