Title: killed by a speeding car
Post by: Richie London on 14 February 2009, 20:53:25
On August 17, 1896,  Bridget Driscoll stepped off a curb in the vicinity of London's Crystal Palace and was hit by a car driven by Arthur Edsall. Reports of his speed range from four to seven miles per hour; whatever it was, it was fast enough to kill her. Edsall spent the night in jail. he said he didnt have time to brake. she stepped out in front of him. ;D ;D
