What do the above letters on car ranges mean? lol do they actually have any meaning? :y

yup - reflect the trim level.

I think porto meant are they acronyms for anything, eg gsi - Gob Sh1** Inside, etc... :y

no no, i know they mean the trim levels lol but do the letters actually mean anything in terms of words if you know what i mean

CDX CORP DIPLOMAT EXEC

OK this is how it was explained to me years ago and is fairly generic accross makes
L = luxury
GL = Grand luxury
GLS = Grand luxury sport
GLX = Grand luxury eXtra
SX = Sports eXtra
SXi = Sports Extra injection
etc
as for CD and CDX dunno!
