Title: Can anyone help with problem on remote alarm set ?
Post by: jerry on 20 February 2009, 11:52:36: mate at works got an astra coupe x reg and hes got a problem with remote locking. He'll lock the car via remote but every now and again after 5 mins or so the alarm keeps going off, this is beginning to happen more frequently. Is there anyway of resetting it?

There must be a way of 'talking' to the car to find out what's triggering the alarm .... Cheapo Tech II?? Turn interior sonics off?? bonnet switch not making proper contact with the bonnet???

could also be bonnet switch - easy to try by unplugging it.
