i have been looking at all things Australian
trying to weigh up the pros and cons on immigration and wanted to know if this is basicly a rebadged  omega with a bigger engine

Sorry to disappoint you but that is definitely a 'Soft Top' you can tell by just having the 2 seats ::) ::) ::)

eh?
its an estate car with a roof and seats in the back  ive just clicked on the link i posted and its 100% not a "soft top"

you can get holdens new now from vauxhall with big v8s dont think they do estates ,dont now how much they are new but ive seen some 2nd hand ones for about 15k.ps they sound fantastic

Kind of, its the basic floor pan but made longer and wider, plus the dash layout etc is totally different.

The older Commodores were re-badged Senators/ Carltons.

They do do an HSV estate version of the VE Commodore, if you didn't know the VE Commodore is sold in the UK as the VXR8

.. and it may have a bigger engine capacity wise but it's a relatively low tech 12v V6 so a Uk spec 3.0 will run rings around it.

EDIT: Unless it's the supercharged version.
