Just picked up some of that cheapo loft insulation from B & Q.
Said to the guy that served me, will need to make two trips 5 packs this time, 4 more when I return.
Well it's amazing how many I got in the TD estate, all 9 packs (3 rolls per pack), had to sought of push the tailgate a little to close it.
Just goes to show the size of the estate load area.

My best was buying a 3 seater settee and footstool (ex display) from harvey's...
Chose it, paid, he said "£30 delivery", I says, "dont worry, it will go in my car, i'll get that in my corsa no probs."
He just looked, I said, "I've got a big estate, it will go", he says "it wont."
I say "give me a tape measure, I then say it will, go, with the boot closed, but I'll give you a concession, Ill have to take the wife and kids home 1st."
I get back, bit of a croud has gathered, sure he has said some daft idiot reckons he can get this lot in the car and had been taking bets.
So We carry it out, and slide it in the boot, and close it ;D
Someone pipes up from the back, "wheres the footstool going", and he just said in a very resigned tone, "its going on the passenger seat isnt it", I just smiled and said "yup"..... And drove off laughing
No way could I have done it in a manual, was a bit close to the steering wheel to use a clutch, but it all went in, was tight, but it went.
Hadnt laughed so hard in a long time, often wonder what it cost him, bet its more than the £30 he wanted me to pay for him to deliver it ;D ;D

you should of put a wager on it
got him to knock half the price off if you could get it in
you would of been laughing even more :y

Well done Mick! (Itch, itch maybe!)
Hoping to manouvre a new bath into my tractor tomorrow, though probably not from the B&Q muppets though!

I used to buy a new Volvo V70 every 2 years but they were not big enough for my PA gear, then I discovered the Traktor, significantly larger & I've kept it since 2003, hydrolocked it, filled it with flood water & it still serves me well!
