Post by: sir moanalot on 27 February 2009, 20:18:28
phoned them regarding set up of the remote record function, i was passed on to 5 different numbers for this and in the end had to come off of the phone before i lost my rag.
today i tried again and got passed on to a different number this time the right one and i was told i had set it up with the wrong username- weird when it is supposed to be a new and completly different name and password than my other one?
i just give in with gadgets at the mo............. :o

Whenever their sales staff contact me I have fun, one sales person learnt a lot about Freeview PVRs
(http://www.eurosatlondon.com/catalog/images/Pace%20twins.jpg)
- especially that you do not have to pay a monthly fee to record. ;D

I really want one to call over Sky HD now so I can ask them about the unreliable HD recorder which doesn't do ITV HD ;D (and costs a lot a year) unlike the buy it and use it of
(http://www.futurehome.co.uk/ProdImages/HUMAX_FOXSAT_HDR.jpg)

I like baiting salespeople

Live I use the TV Tuner

If it is in HD I use the Humax PVR (FreeSat)

Otherwise I use one of the Freeview PVRs

PVRs are fantastic.

Freeview seems to have a better picture than Freesat (non HD)
