Title: E mail address.
Post by: amigov6 on 27 February 2009, 22:46:31
Recently had my tower cleared out, generally running quicker but had to re install everything, ebay passwords etc. My email address however seems to be unrecognized to the point i can't sign into my email & when i deleted Sarahs OOF membership & tried to put mine in i had to enter my username, not my email.

    Any ideas please?

Wonder if your keyboard is set to American rather than British English, so the @ symbol isn't coming up when you type it.

Highly feasable - plus if it uses numbers is the NumLock on (or off depending on which way you have it) - assuming you're using the keypad, not the row above the letters (done that as well..).

Deffo sounds like something keyboard related - and the US/UK keyboard is a favourite trick - thanks Microsoft..it asks you what country you're in, then promptly leaves the keyboard 3000 miles away.
