Looks very nice much cleaner with no badges I think, you know a copper friend of mine said black number plates were only allowed on pre-1970 cars is that true?

Would look smoother without Griffin, if there weren't two holes behind it, as mentioned on another thread...

Very nice work...

Not yet..... touch wood! Not in this car.

I had a tug a few years back when they were on a Lexus IS200 I had, but I got away without a ticket as I offered to change them before moving off and the copper was happy with that!

 ;)

Same as a bloke a work with incorrect spacing (to make his name).  Correct plates in the boot were enough for the copper to stop him handing out a ticket.

At the time (and probably still is) it was the cheapest way of getting a dateless reg. I've had it for over 10years now and the mig is the fourth car of mine it's been on.

Personally I think it needs the Griffin. Without it it would have the "Un-finished respray" feel to it.
Boyracer go-karts that have been de-badged and de-locked just look like a blob of colour with a wheel in each corner.

Photoshop it out and see what you think.

I Agree! I think loosing the Griffin would be a step too far maybe. I did think about a new style one but they are around 10mm bigger. :-/

I think after seeing the photos though I may have to get a exhaust trim to smarten that up a bit and go with the shiny towball cover!!  ;D
