Title: Any German speakers? Debs perhaps?
Post by: Gaffers on 06 March 2009, 20:17:38: I recently bought this trailer and I know there is a little work to do but I am not sure excatly what it is. It could be the leaf spring or the supporting bar.

My German isnt good enough and Babelfish doesnt help enough either... can anyone help?

No specifics on faults; just measurements. ;)

He does also mention 'another trailer for picking-up': but that my be him being a German worry-wort!......it looks ok, those leaf-springs look like leafers of a Sankey trailer: I wonder where one might obtain two sets of those?;D

I'm sure I can find some if they are shot. Fleebay? ;D ;D ;D

I reckon though they just need derusting and repainting plus a set of new U-bolts. The bearings worry me the most as I dont know how well he has taken care of them. Will take a grease gun with me just in case :y
