Title: Car insurance

Hi all just notie that on my insurance it says that my car is a 16v when its a 8v so i rang them and they said on the computers its down as a 16v anyone know why this can be

If you feed sh1te into a computer, you'll get sh1te out of it! I think some of it is, if when it's newly registered by the dealer, if they get it wrong, it stays wrong at DVLA. SWMBO has an Astra Comfort, but insurance comapnies often have it as an LS.  :-/
