Sent him a question asking if he made a mistake in the price. Told him he might get £3500 max if he`s lucky. This was his reply,
Hi, yes that's the correct price, if you can find any at £3,500 I will be amazed,
infact if you can buy 10 at £3,500 each I will buy them all. This is a VERY VERY
rare and sought fatre vehicle, and you will not find another like ths ever again.

Did the same and got a reasonable response. Still way to high, but low mileage (34k). Fair do's, he replied at 10:30 on a sunday evening.
Hi, we are quite aware that is not a cheap Omega, but it is in exceptional condition, infact I don't think we will ever come across another quite like this, price yes is £7995
Have a look at the following website, you will see they are an Omega specialist and currently have
a 2003 Elite with 104K advertised for £4995...

I just said he was being about £4500 too optimistic & posted a link to Parker's ...... :-?
Well if you obviously know nothing about these cars, because if you did then you would know they do not sell by the Parkers guide price... The Parker's guide is for people like you who have no or little knowledge about thecar market.

Perhaps their value is on the up now & Lee can see into the future!
I prefer the alloys on the earlier facelifts. ::)

Go on... you know you want to ;D

Well well, so I was sent this link so thought i'd come onto the site and put a few points across.
Yes we are fully aware that this Omega is considrably more expensive than most, however this car is also in a different league to most out there. The car has full Vauxhall history all done at Northern Motors Vauxhall in Harrow, Middlesex, please call them on 0208 427 8808 if you have any lingering doubts. The colour of coolant is not definitive!!
When we see Omega Elite's with 104K advertised for £4995, then our's with almost 3 times less mileag at £7995 in almost conquors condition does not look out of place. Why is no-one questioning the £4995 price tag for a 100K car?
As per our advert this Omega is the best we have ever come across and is true one off vehicle, you will probably not see another example like this again.
So yes it is expensive, but you are buying a quite exceptional example of an Omega. We are not crazy enough to think that the vehicle justifies the £7995 price tag if it was not in such exceptional order!!
Bit dissapointing to see the rather sarky and unecessary comments about this car though.

And Roger Burdens is a laughing stock on here mate so dont quote their prices........!!!
Look what cars are going for!!!!!
PS....>Welcome to the Forums !!!!

At the end of the day, the car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If this chap sells the car for £7995, who is the fool then - it certainly isn't him - is it?
If the car doesn't shift at £8k the price is only going to go one way, and it won't be up. Eventually it might reach a price that OOFers would expect to see and then sell - but there is no harm in trying it on at a higher price in my opinion.
Certainly no need for this thread.

Whilst I agree with what you say, why not have the thread? There usually is something similar running regarding some Mig for sale on ebay or the like.

Sorry, that wasn't really what I meant - having the thread is one thing, but the tone has been very sarcastic and perhaps a bit unfair to wards the seller, even when he has been on to defend his position (not that he should have to) :)

I have never had a Roger Budden car, but from what I understand they are well prepared good quality vehicles backed up by excellent aftersales. For that you pay a premium, IF you want one. We all know that even an average car can easily need a grands plus worth of fixing - cambelt, camseals, tyres, exhaust,... - and his should need for nothing. I know at least one member on here was very happy with his purchase.
I don't know if this one is similar or if the warranty backup is as comprehensive. Personally I look on ebay for bargains and assume anything there will likely have 'issues'. But that is probably not fair.
I don't think the sarcasm is warranted, either way. Its a free world and no-one has to buy this car if they don't want to. If Lee has overpriced it, so be it, it won't sell. If he does, he's quids in. Either way its his business. I do think his reply to our members question was equally sacrastic... hey-ho.
-
Well wish there was more reasonable people around on this forum but sadly not, here is an example of the total crap that Martyn Webster aka webby23 insists on emailing us:
You patronising idiot.....just lost a potential customer and everyone on the forums are laughing at you and the reply you sent me !!!
Funny how you dealers always laugh at prices given in guides, especially when it comes to selling a 6yr old Omega for £8000.......lol
And you say I know nothing about cars......!!!!!
You prick !!!
I think Martyn should hang his head in shame because there is no need to get so abusive and react like this because you cannot accept the price on the Omega!!
-
I dont think so mate
Its a free world and I will express my opinion but thanks for the offer.
My head is held high and standing by what i said......and I wouldnt embarass you by publicising your replies to me dont worry.........or would I.....!!!

No mate, you get a reply like that when you tell me that the
car is only worth x amount when you get your information from cardata, (which you did), when you should be well aware that full spec 3.2 Elite's are very very hard to find, so guide's go out of the window on cars like this... and then you send me another email telling me to make the price realistic along with your car data valuation, so how do you expect me to react!! As a dealer I am used to handling all sorts of enquiries and I can spot the rude/sarcastic/timewaster one's like yourself from a mile away!! So I will not lose sleep over losing customer's as rude and arrogant as you!!

Irrespective of what it sells for, that really is a side issue, it's the manner and conduct with the way a few members have chosen to act is the "now argument", spouting of about calling us up and offering a £100, being sworn at, etc, etc, it really is uncalled for and way out of order!!. At the end of the day we feel we have a very special example of Elite, and so it is priced with a premium. Some people will accept and some won't but we will not accept being insulted about it without having our say!!
-
Well, quite clearly a car will sell for what ever somebody is willing to pay for it.
Would I pay that sort of money for that car.....no, I might part with half that as it will porbably need the cambelt doing if not already done (plus it would come apart because I would not trust the person to do it right if it had been) and I would strip and do a proper service to it.
But then I guess I know these cars better than anybody outside the design time (pus a few others on here! :y)
Are there similar cars for that sort of money....well I have not found any actually, the closest I could find was:
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/VAUXHALL+OMEGA/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-10-50-113-240-4294966436-4294966969/advert.action?R=200909329645345&distance=61&postcode=NG2+6RA&channel=CARS&make=VAUXHALL&model=OMEGA&min_pr=2000&max_pr=&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=2003&vehicleRegLetter=03
Although its not an estate and still over the top on cost (A dealer mind).
Will I lock this thread, well its being watched very closely! :y
-
It is a very nice car. I am on the lookout for one with that spec and they are very hard to come by. Yes i feel it is overpriced, if it was cheaper i would have definately given it some thought but at the end of the day he is a dealer trying to make some money. Anyone doing their homework before they buy a car will see it is overpriced and if they bought it that would be their downfall. All credit thou to the dealer for his response keeping calm and polite. We should all leave him alone to get on with his business as he is doing no harm to us. :y

Mate I can take a joke same as the next man, but I can also spot things that ain't intended as a joke, more like a piss-take, so don't play the innocent once you've been rumbled!! Martyn was way out of order, and so far seem oblivious to this!! When you have a car for sale and someone emails you calling you a "dick" a "prick" etc, SEE HOW YOU REACT!! because I can tell you one thing you will NOT find it funny!!

No Nick, that was Martyn... didn't mean to sound as if you sent me those emails sorry...
ANYWAY HAVE SAID MY PEACE!! Hopefully we will have some more Omega Elite's in stock soon with average mileage, still in good condition that I will be able to sell much cheaper lol ;D

This exchange is just bringing this forum into disrepute. Things have been said and done which I suppose in hindsight people may now reflect on and wish they could start again.
I have no issue with the value of the car - I have full spec irmscher 3.2 elite and it is worth to me a lot more than it would sell for. trouble is - what do I replace it with at that spec, size quality. If I were in the market I would probably discuss with the seller but if he sticks to a price then fine- but what does he offer for a trade in etc may come into the equation.
I think we should move on now.

Still way out of my league, but irrelevant of price, condition etc. the e-mail response I received was polite, honest...and at gone half ten on a sunday night. :y :y
If it does go for the asking price, Lee is soooo gonna let us know ;D ;D

Well I will put some points across.
For some reason people will pay over the odds for a shitbox, but decent cars like ours are to be honest too cheap - just due to lack of badge.
I think it is an expensive car but I feel that for what they are all Omegas are under valued, and that is what it should be worth.
I find it insulting that an older 1.0 shitbox is worth more than my car.
Yes the car is expensive Lee, but I hope you sell, - no actually I think you should use it - good car and worth driving.
I have been in similar size cars from different manufacturers, eg the over cramped 5 series, the strange handling Saab 9-5, neither should be worth more than an Omega but for some stupid reason are.
Nice LHD ones go for silly money in some parts of the world, but for some stupid reason UK people would rather drive the badge than the car ::)

Unwise for me to sell - I do not know what to get in its place (which is as cost effective as keeping it) - it also has a brand new engine and hopefully will run another 5/6 years.

Firstly the car is well out of my price range, but I did buy a very nice V reg 2.5 Elite Estate under 40000 mls from a Network Q dealer with a network q warranty on it and paid over the top last December but im happy with it it had been well looked after as well as 2 cambelt changes at same main dealer.
The car advertised at what seems silly money to some oofers may well sell if someone comes along with money burning a hole in their pocket :)

Fred the "shred" springs to mind - he'll have to blow his pension quickly before Gordon grabs it.
-
Roger Budden used to get top price for his cars due to the exceptional way he looked after his customers, i believe Entwood has had 1st hand experience and was very impressed.
That is more than top value for a facelift Elite estate, the biggest issue is petrol prices are back on the climb again but even with an LPG kit this still wouldn't make current asking price.
as a suggestion to admin would it be worth 'trimming' the tread a little so some of the less relevant posts are pruned?

If it does go for the asking price, Lee is soooo gonna let us know ;D ;D
Hi Turk, just thought i'd give an honest idea of the response the car has had, first few days we had a number of emails from people questioning the price and as mentioned earlier in this thread some abusive stuff too!!
However as the week went on we have had atleast 3/4 very serious enquiries and one person inparticular is very keen on the car and a holding desposit is on the way, so subject to completion of the sale it looks like the Elite is sold :y
It goes to show that late model Elite's are very hard to come across and clearly have a healthy demand, because the serious customers who rang us up commented that they had been looking for months and months without any joy!! They said they did not find the new Signum or Insignia appealing whatsoever and only wanted Omega's!!
As good news as it is for us, I don't think we'll come across an example like this for a VERY VERY long time ;)

I paid substantially less than your asking price for a 2002 model 3.2 estate with full service history, one owner, 60 odd thou miles and loads of toys including colour satnav, reverse sensors, tow hitch, cream leather etc etc etc....
Hope you get the price you aspire to but, to be honest, if you do, you are very much the exception.... :y

I would disagree enntirely! £8000 will get hmm a BMW E39 M5 And a good one at that a rough E46 M3 A very nice X5, a new shape S-Class Mercedes V8,and preety much any other executive car
As a trader you should have access to the BCA trader link an elite with 58k sold on there for £2k!
mileage means nothing!! i dont know why people are concerned about miles as it means nothing its service history that counts! and a FSH omega elite even a late one is not worth anymore than £2000 !

But we are not talking about what £8K will get him/her are we? Mileage means nothing? :-? Think most people will disagree with you on that!! As a trader I can tell you a high mileage car can NEVER compare to a low mileage car, ie we recently sold a 2001 Merc CL55 AMG with 71K, the car was very nice and well over a £100K new, now we have a 2000 Merc CL 500 with 31K and everything feels that much beter, ie suspension, door hinges, condition of leather, engine sound and gearchange etc, etc IMO mileage means everything, and that is something we always look for.

When you compare the build quality and specifications against the "supposed" leading manufacturers, they should all sell for a heck of a lot more than they do. If the Omega was made by one of the German manufacturers it would have easily sold with another £5k+ on the price.
I suspect the abusive stuff was probably triggered by the defence of the price and the fact that they thought you were a typical rip-off dealer.
You're obviously not that bad, you drive a Mig. ;D
(Mind you, had you been a VX Main Stealer...oh dear !! ;D ;D)
Cars are worth what someone is prepared to pay, and for what you get compared to the "supposed" leaders in the executive car market, it's a bargain.
Let's just say the price was high...for what we here would pay. ;)
Don't be a stranger. :y
-
I really don't understand all this, surly any car is worth what someone will pay for it, end of. Regardless of what people may think or value. There is a Mk1 GT Cortina on ebay for £6995 is it worth it? to someone possibly, if you want one and you can not buy them new then you will pay the money if you can afford it, same for an Omega, can't get a new one. At then end of the day it is down to money and what you are prepared to pay for what you want. If I had the money, I would buy the Cortina :y
-
if i had the money it would be the M5 ::) anyways the mileage is low! a local car tyrant was trying to sell a M Reg 405 with 39k on the clock for £2500!
but if someone really wants an omega and they have that kind of money then that omega is a very fine example!
-
Looks like the car has been sold :o
-
:o :o :D
-
It is an exceptional Miggy.
If the cambelt is replaced ,and a 3 month warranty is supplied before the car is sold ,then I would suggest a value of about £3500-£3750.
We are in recession ,and all car prices are falling. :-* :-* :-*
-
Looks like the car has been sold :o
Yes and I kid you not, I have someone on standby to buy the Elite at full asking price over the phone without even viewing the car if the current deal falls through, that has even shocked me!! It proves to me beyond doubt that exceptional Elite's are VERY sought after!!
-

Which goes to prove, that there's one born every minute. :-? :-?
-
I have seen Elites with similar mileage and similar condition and spec go for less than half what this geezer wants for this car.
if there are idiots out there who cant be bothered to check REAL prices and are happy to pay well over the odds (which this car is) then like already said, there is one born every minute.
I bet Lee wasnt saying how fabulous this car was when he was negotiating buying it........Wonder how much he paid for it?
:)

I have a feeling that this "sold" miggy will be for sale again very shortly.
It beggars belief that someone is willing to pay £8000 for a 03 plate miggy.
Perhaps everything here is not quite as it seems. :-/ :-/ :-* :-* :-*

Oh yes, Lee's gonna happily tell us that ! ;D ;)

I know......maybe not so have deleted that request......would love to know though !!!
If he paid more than £3000 for it I would be very surprised, if he paid less than £3000 for it isnt then asking £7995 more than a bit cheeky.......?

Wouldn't we all ! ;D
Can't really call it cheeky.
At the end of the day, if the asking price was £10k and someone bought it, there's no gun to their head, (Lee, is there something you're not revealing about your sales pitch ?;D), and if the buyer is happy then it's a fair transaction all round.
It's a bit unfair for us to have a go at someone paying "X" amount for a Mig. If that is the car they want and all they have to go on is other dealer prices, then just under £8k for a low mileage mint Elite isn't that extortionate. If the buyer is happy, then that's the end of it.
Remember, many on here live and breath Omegas. Had them for years, worked on them, bought and sold them, attend auctions just to look, know the best prices for parts, know 20 minute shortcuts that a dealer would charge £100+ to do, and are only too ready to share, help and advise.
Others less fortunate only know forecourt prices, genuine parts...and Halfrauds for everything else.
We can just be thankful we have the OOF :y

Wish I had found oof earlier, our current Mig would be a V6 and I would not have sold our old one for £150.00 Aug 07 ::) ::)

we paid 2k for our 3.0 Elite Facelift, colour sat nav, bose, cream leather, full service history, recent belt and autobox fluid change. only thing its missing from 3.2 version listed on ebay is the parking sensors but on Estates who needs them.
Ours had 70k miles on too.
Sorry, anyone paying 8k for that example is a fool!

No. They just don't know any different !
Cars are bought from dealers. Servicing is done by garages (some folk only know Main Stealers :o). Many folk just about know how to re-fuel.

I just don't understand it, Omegas are great cars, but if i had 8k to spend and was after an Estate, i would be looking at BMW 530d Estates, they will hold their value much better, pay 8k for that Omega now, 2 years and 50k miles later it will be worth less than 1k!
-
Anybody that paid £7995 for a car that is worth less than half that amount (IF it is sold) is a fool, and deserves to be ripped off........

True but no doubt there's a BMW forum much like this who's members would pay only 5K for a BMW you'd pay 8K for.... Knowledge is power and all that!

But would you get the same specifications, condition and mileage ?
Remember, most toys on Beemers are optional extras.
Yes, £8k is a lot for a Mig...but only because we know different !
Print off Lee's advert and ask non-OOF Mig owners for their opinion. :y

But its not some special knowledge we have mate, anyone can check prices for comparable models in Autotrader......?
Anyway, if he has sold it good luck to him, but it just goes to show what idiots there are about.......
By the way I am selling a 1995 Astra for just £6000 if anyone is as stupid as this guys customers.......!!!!

Without wanting to get flamed for pointing out the obvious, new Omega Elite's in 2003 were £31K plus options. As per our advert when we say the car is the best in the UK we don't say that lightly!! The car has never seen a bodyshop and does not have a single pin dent, it's just so good that you would have to see it to beleive it, and so the car is on par in terms of condition with a 2 year old car, in EVERY aspect, so then the £8K price tag is not silly and people interested in the car do not need to be called idiots etc, because they all have access to ebay/autotrader etc, they know what they're looking at. This is a stand-out car, so people please accept it's probably a league or two up from everything else out-there...
Without giving too much away this car was a Mercedes-Benz Diret
part-ex vehicle and was bought by us 3 or 4 times over the book price, it takes a lot of bottle to do that but we knew what we were buying ;) so people please be rest assured that this car owes us a LOT more tha £2K or £3K or £4K or £5K!!, some people may be surprised to read that but it's the truth. This is why when people start quoting us book prices and telling us to stop taking drugs blah blah it insults our intelligence because WE KNOW it's way over any book price!! and we paid way over any book price!!
As a dealer I can tell you when you have a "special" example of a desirable spec car the book goes right out of the window!! and that's what happened here both when we bought the car and when we sold the car ;)

Misinformed? - definately.... :y
If that is/was your opinion why only a 3 month warranty :-? :-?
-
Looks like the car has been sold :o
Yes and I kid you not, I have someone on standby to buy the Elite at full asking price over the phone without even viewing the car if the current deal falls through, that has even shocked me!! It proves to me beyond doubt that exceptional Elite's are VERY sought after!!
I have a feeling that this "sold" miggy will be for sale again very shortly.
It beggars belief that someone is willing to pay £8000 for a 03 plate miggy.
Perhaps everything here is not quite as it seems. :-/ :-/ :-* :-* :-*
No mate, car is definately sold, please accept that, everything is as it seems there's no mystery here ;) anyway thanks for adding something postive to the thread...
-
But its not some special knowledge we have mate, anyone can check prices for comparable models in Autotrader......?
Anyway, if he has sold it good luck to him, but it just goes to show what idiots there are about.......

Not sure if you agree or disagree with my post.... :-/
In essence, a car is worth whatever someone wants to pay, be they a dealer or a private individual.
Whether they take a hit on purchase or sale, thats up to them....
As to one car being better than another - I know what my car is and what it cost me. To compare it with yours what you list yours at, I most certainly got a good deal.
In another aspect, I paid more for my example than would probably be considered as reasonable on here. That said, that puts your car on a very high pedestal. I doubt, knowing what I have (which is a very similar spec and condition) that yours would be worth much more so thus I trim my comments accordingly........

The 3 month warranty thing is just a standard text thing, if someone wanted upto a 12 month warranty with this car no problem, it's normal for us to give a 12 month warranty on cars over £5K anyway...
I agree with your posts, I just quoted them to catch the all the relevant topics ;) If your car is similar to our's in condition/spec and you got it at reasonable cost then you should be well pleased because nice one's are getting very hard to get hold off, and you'd probably have to pay more for one today...

So Lee,you paid the previous owner more than £5000 for his 03 plate miggy.
Hmmmm ,This is really a case of "believe it if you want ",or not. :-* :-* :-*
-
I can understand this - if it is as good as it is said, and fully loaded Elites are not the most common model.
And you want a big estate with lots of toys, and you are prepared to buy an excellent condition vehicle.
I don't see many Omega estates around, and they tend to hold their value better.
Lee gambled and it paid off, why begrudge him, why moan about the price the buyer paid.
Change the badge to a different brand and that car would be cheap.

Precisely. You can get bargains but it can take a long time to find the car you want at the price you want (I know Hotel21 was looking for a while...). In the end you might well have to compromise in some respect. You might end up having to accept a car that needs work, for example. If you can afford to do away with that hassle it might make sense (to you) to pay a little more to drive it off a dealer's forecourt and part-ex your previous car.
I can understand buyers who don't want to mess about dealing with private sellers, and who don't want to mess about with private buyers when it comes to getting rid of their previous car. You will come across every kind of crook and time waster in the business with just a simple ad in Autotrader.
I for one can't be arsed with that game any more. I generally keep cars for 7 or 8 years so what's a few extra quid on the price when you set it off against the running costs over that period?
That car is likely to cost at least 18p a mile on fuel at today's prices. at 12K miles a year that's over 17K on fuel over an 8 year ownership period for a start. :o

I think that perhaps Lee is having a bit of fun with us here at OOF.
I have owned one or two ....................special or exceptional cars in my life..........................the dealers remarks /comments go something like this.
1.....It,s not a popular colour.................we'll have trouble selling it.
2........People don't want automatics....we could get stuck with this one.
3.....Too heavy on petrol .....we'll be lucky to shift it.
4......Ladies don't like the interior in that colour.
5..........Not worth anything these motors....put it through auction mate
6.......We don't PX cars over 5 years old ...........as they are worthless.
And the list could go on.
I have NEVER EVER.......had a dealer say to me ...................oh...yes Sir.......your car is so special .......so exceptional......that I will pay you FOUR TIMES......book price.
So come on Lee.............it looks like a nice Omega......but it's not made of gold......I doubt it will be the last we see of this particular Omega. :y :y :y :y

No, only came on the site after being told we were the laughing stock on the forum and some abusive emails as discussed earlier on... definately not having any fun with the OOF, far from it ;) anyway I think it's time to bring this thread to an end as enough has been said so time to move on :y
-
I thought you only came on here cos you were replying to enquiries with a bad attitude.........
If you had not then this thread would have been a far better advert for your business than it has been and you would have come across as a far better person than you have done, so dont moan !!!
Also IF the car is so definately SOLD why is it still on Ebay only showing as reserved........??? Surely if its sold then you can remove the ad..........???
Anyway, if it is sold at your very expensive FULL price by someone who hasnt even knocked you down £50 for a tank of fuel then you have done very very well mate and if i was you I would buy a lottery ticket this weekend.
Nothing personal against you Lee, you are a car dealer, i just hate seeing people being ripped off not getting a great deal when buying a used Omega..........
Let us know when she has gone, I am sure you will !!!!
:y

:y
...and now Lee's on here coz he drives a Mig. So that's the end of that ! ;)
As for "not getting a great deal", I suspect the person that bought it would disagree. No one in a position to spend £8k on a car is going to part with a penny without A) Looking around at similar models, and B) Being pretty sure they know what they are spending £8k on.
Think about it, would you spend £800 on something without a little thought, let alone £8,000 ?
Heck, I'll ponder over something for £8.00 if it's not something I must have.
At the end of the day, you will almost always find a better deal elswhere...eventually !
With time and money spent searching, you get to a point where you say, "No, I'm happy with this deal !". :y
-
That totally contradicts what Lee said bud cos he was saying his customers dont care what price is it, they just want the best........
My own opinion (and thats all it is) is that even the best isnt worth half of £7995......
:y
-
As Turk says ... if both sides are happy then it IS a good deal .. and our opinions matter not a jot.
We've not seen the car, or tested it, we don't want to buy it so why are so many knickers getting twisted ???
When I bought mine a year ago, some on the forum said I had paid too much, I was also "told" I paid too much for the LPG conversion, (but only by a few vociferous ones). I didn't care then, and I don't care now .. even though it is worth - on paper - less than 1/4 of what I paid. I have got a car that is different than most and special to me, and I still love driving it.
-
Surely value, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If the person buying it thinks it's worth 8K to them that is all that matters.
-

And that is the whole point, if any buyer is happy with their purchase what is the problem, there will always be someone who could have got you a better deal. The car is sold, can we just leave it at that. :)
-
Well, surely it has gone........??
-
Just got in from work, got on the forum and read this thread. All seems to have gotten a bit heated ;D. Still, quite entertaining!!Personally, I'd say that it looks to be a very nice car and with that spec and mileage and with a 12month warantee it probably does deserve to be worth more than 5K .Problem is that it doesnt matter how nice it is , the depreciation on omegas is massive whether we like it or not and so, realistically, by "market" value it is (vastly)overpriced. That said, if a buyer is happy with that, and this is the car theyve been looking for, well good luck to both them and Lee!!At the end of the day I'm pretty sure that, with the money we've probably all spent on our own cars plus the specs involved with the mig , we all value our cars a lot more than the price they would realistically fetch if we were to sell them. Besides, its not as if Lee is forcing anyone to buy it ......are you Lee? :y

Well according to this thread
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1237073245
There are only 36 of them left on the road in europe.... now that makes them rare and collectable .. to someone who wants one .... so the price will be higher, especially for a good condition, low milegae one, than a readily available car.
Interesting thought .. there are more Lotus Carltons on the road than 3.2 MV6 Estates ... but no one seems to be complaining about the prices THEY go for ?? :)

For god's sake what exactly is your problem? We have taken a large deposit on the car and the car is being collected in due course. The peson buying the car is from Scotland... so do you expect him to just simply teleport straight to us and back home ;D I simply have not put sold on the Omega as it is benefical to us to know the general interest shown on the car. Our other Omega with 22K advertised on ebay has already had genuine interest from a few people, so things look positive ;)

I believe in the "free market", so whatever the market stands in terms of price, for whatever you are selling, is what you deserve to receive. That is business, always was and always will be. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Our other Omega with 22K advertised on ebay has already had genuine interest from a few people, so things look positive ;)
all this kicked off ages ago and i'm sure it was locked by admin
if its sold its sold
fair play to lee if he got the 8k for it
if he did i want a drink
well done
