i went to the vboa spares day last weekend (only three omegas in the car park inc mine) and picked up a shedload of gear for my cav at rock bottom prices. while there i noted quite a lot of omega bits and some that stood out were these irmscher carbon fibre effect interior panels which i think are the standard issue on mv6 minifacelifts. they came with quite a price tag, £180 all in i think, but brand new in irmscher packaging they must be pretty rare. maybe there's a perfectionist amongst you with money to burn? enjoy the snaps! :

				Standard MV6 fitment!

looks nice though makes me wanna go and polish my'n all up again i wish my'n was an auto though id have the posh C/F window switches then

 £180!!! thats alot
-
up close brand new without a mark on it i have to say it did look really nice. but i dont think theyre actual carbon fibre are they, just the carbon fibre print? like the wooden effect ones just with a different print on them? for £180 i would expect actual carbon fibre! but then again you do get a lovely irmscher box with each part hahahaha!

-
yep i can confirm they are just painted carbon fibre :( although i am not to sure weather the ashtray is or isnt!

-
				Didn't see your car there!

Nearly bought a brand new 3.0 Alternator (more reliable than the ones fitted to the 3.2) for £30 but changed my mind.

Maybe it's coz I am getting old but I just dont like them.  I prefer the Walnut finnish.  Ah well.

-
it impreses some people the boy racers kept asking me where i got my'n from they still dont believe the MV6 comes with "BOSS Wheels and "Boss" carbon bits as they call them i have no idea what "Boss" means its Chav speak i think......

-
Wtf is boss? Ive come to think of fake carbon as a bit chav since that sad trend infected the bike world. Much prefer the fake wood. ;D ;D

As Scruntie say's, it's an age thing, and I tend to agree....... ::) ::) ::)

;D The 'faux' walnut is a better class of fake! ;D

				 :o :o

Really? I've seen a lot of replies on here about the faux walnut - i've got it in my f/l elite and I hate it.

As soon as I can find some MV6 silver trim the walnut is coming out (and, judging by the opinions on here, will promptly be up for sale!)

 ;D ;D

One more vote for the genuine mock Walnut, the carbon fibre looks more like plastic than plastic does.   :y

 And the Walnut doesn't  ;D ;D
-
its not legit carbon fibre, just the print i think. proper carbon fibre weave might look nice. i quite like it anyway, although not at that price, and it certainly suits the sportier 'souped up' omegas more than the more refined walnut finish
