Title: Pdsa...
Post by: bertiecbx550 on 19 March 2009, 21:51:20
I`ve gotta take the rottie in tomorrow to see the doggie doctor she has got a green mucus on both her eyes i`ve bought some hygenic wipes for her eyes and ears and been keeping them clean as best as i can....I just hope its not too serious as she has also developed a fear of coming back down the stairs in the morning when my dad gets up...I`ve had to carry her down twice this week...... :( :-/

Hi Mate SWMBO is a vet nurse and she said it sound like conjunctivitis and it will need treating with anti-biotic eye cream or drops. She would have thought that once the poor thing can see properly again she should be ok with stairs again.  :y

As immx says -- my guess is the fear of the stairs is to do with being unable to see clearly.

Hopefully t'will clear up soon  :y

I was really proud of her behaviour in the vets she just sat their looking round at the other dogs and cats and never bothered about em...When we went in with her a woman  went oh god a rottie and told me not to come near her!!!! stupid cow....Tysie then saw a male rottie come in and started flirting with him(tart)....But yeah i`ve give her the drops and washed my hands as i believe conjunctivitis can be caught by us??? :y
