Whos got an iphone and it says 'no network'??

Even tho its got a valid network card in it??

It was working earlier....then i think i made the mistake and telling it to reset everything....

Ideas??

At a quick guess, you need to search for a network and tell it to use it

If its factory reset you most likey need to plug it into iTunes again to activate it

make sure no daft itunes popup are behind the itunes window, i was activating some girls iphone in the office, she left it for ages without realizing a popup was underneath itunes waiting....

The music ones are good as music phones.

Think ive found the prob.....i put a 02 data enabled sim in it....and assumed it would work!.....i now think it has to be a 3G sim for it to work.....will have to chat nicely to o2 to see if they will send me one....unless im missing something obvious  ::) :-/

if no joy with o2 you can get the 3g sim cards off of ebay at some cost.
these cards are ready for internet etc bolt ons and are different from normal sims. alternatively you can bolt on the 3g to your sim at £10 per month- im pretty sure thats how it works.

I will find out for myself shortly..... :-/

Having the phone made 'unlocked' .....so i can use my sim card in it......obviously its out of contract....so legal  :y

Note to TB.....Tesco's do a kettle....about a tenner iirc....it lights up with blue leds when you turn it on  :y :y ;D
