Took a 09 plate Yamaha XJ6 for a burn today, VERY nice bike, silky smooth inline 4, quite torquey as well, did not need to change gear that much, also very nice in town.

Look a little lanky for that tunnie ;D
Try a GSX 1400 they are for tall people ;) even make a 1200 bandit look small when sat side by side ::)

Well thats why i like the MT-03, it has a very upright riding position.
Sat on a Honda CBF500, hated the really small handle bars, also sat on a Bandit, that was better, but similar issues to the XJ6.
I like the 'fun' factor of the MT, the XJ was silky smooth compared with thumper MT, but i think it suited me more.
If i want to do anything long-haul i will take the Omega, i want something for the twistys. MT felt quicker off the line!

Except with your frame you would look more at home on a Vespa :y ;D

Vespa's are gutless though, i thought the XJ6 would scare me, but it did'nt
-
try a CB 1300 or as daz said a Gxer1400 , nice big bikes no more powerful than that 600 but shed loads of torque :y :y :y >The 1400 is a bit front heavy at low speeds it likes to tuck in ,dont know what the CB is like but all the tests rave about it .

I must agree with some comments Tunnie regarding you making the bike look to small :).

Thats the same ish style as the MT-03, which i am told a local dealer has one coming in next week :D
The XJ6 was silky smooth, and i took it on a similar route to the MT after my test, what i found was i had much better vision on the MT, i could sit up and look around the nice country villages i was passing though, on the XJ6 i was hunched over and could not really see around as much
