Title: tattooing tigra ann
Post by: nick v6 on 23 March 2009, 13:15:29
ann saw a design this morning when we got back from town and said
do that on my leg, will it hurt
yes

anyway here are a few pics
not good pics cause it was on my phone

this is the transfer
(http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr264/nickandann123/DSC00046.jpg)

then i inked in the outline
(http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr264/nickandann123/DSC00047.jpg)
ann couldn't keep still so i had to pin her down ;D

then i started the colouring bit
(http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr264/nickandann123/DSC00048.jpg)

there was a lot of shading on this tattoo
(http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/rr264/nickandann123/DSC00050.jpg)

How did you get into tattooing?  How many have you done?

ive been doing tattoing about nearly 2 years and done quite a few tattoo's
self taught
always loved art so this is ideal for me

except over the past ive been messed around with payments so i am very weary now when it comes to doing tattoo's to make sure i get paid

nice work  :y

thanks
took just over 2 hours all in
quite straight forward apart from the shading which i know does hurt the most and there is a lot of shading
you need to see it in the flesh to see it in more detail

Yeah totally agree with Nick taking his time...i fully believe thats why the tattoo nick done hurt and bled much much less than they normally do.
Was actually quite shocked while he was doing it...also he was happy if i wanted a ciggy break or just wait a couple of minutes.

Based solely on the work he has done i"ll happily recommend him without hesitation....and just take a look at his tatt on his leg,if that doesn't speak for its self i really dont know what would. :y

Already got a customer for Nick.....she took one look at mine and said she will be using Nick for hers. :y

tell her to get in touch and let me know what she wants

i'll be starting that big angel/devil tattoo i showed you on wednesday
but that is going to take a long time due to the amount of detail
ive had a good look at it and its going to take me about 3 hours just on outline alone there is so much detail in it

That could be a possibility depending when it is. I dont't normally look for designs just go for freehand work. It makes life more interesting. But these are the tattoos i have already

That is also a possibility. I think it's around 125 miles each way. Should cost about £35 in fuel.

I'm after more work on the second one but have no ideas as yet. I normally just let the tattooist loose with his imaginiation. I just give a rough image and see what he comes up with. If I like it it gets inked. I will let you know if I can make it to york or if I will be down near your area.

its hard to explain the pain you get
its like a scratch sort of pain
weird to explain
unless you get a tattoo you won't be able to understand it

Martin imagine getting a sewing needle....heat it up in a fire then dig it into your skin and start scratching.

That's about the best way i can describe how it feels...pleasant it is not.

Anyone who has a tattoo does so for the end result, its worth the discomfort for the pleasure they bring.

Everyone has their own way of explaning the feeling. Although it isn't a pleasant pain you get used it it. I find it addictive. You soon forget about the discomfort as you get into watching the artist at work.
