https://checkout.channeladvisor.com/checkout
Just won an item on Ebay, guy says payment via Pay, then takes me to the above site with all my address details loaded after leaving the ebay screen.
Gets to the end with my Ebay email addy which is different to my Paypal addy and it asks for my password and then again to confirm it.
Dont like the look of it, any thoughts.?
TIA :y

Looks dodgy to me.

Channeladvisor is a legitimate company, and as far as I can see that link is to the company, not to a spoof address
US site : http://www.channeladvisor.com/
UK site : http://www.channeladvisor.co.uk/?gclid=CJ2u8Jy4wZkCFUiT3wodCD_hvA
so it is probably OK .. but I can't promise of course .. :(
and Paypal list them as a "partner"

Just feels a bit suss with the email addy and 2 x password.
Have emailed him for a direct paypal invoice.
If he intended using this method rather than direct Paypal he should have mentioned it. >:(

If it's asking for a password and then to confirm it -- sounds like account set up.

Ah well, they aint getting an account from me.
All sorted just paid him direct through Paypal, which is all I am ever prepared to do on an Ebay sale.
Far too many companies have our details.

don't trust that
totally different

I prefer paypal it gives you some guarantees at least. I would be sus about using that screen too.

I didnt. I will only deal with Paypal, as I know if I have any hassle from a seller Paypal will just refund me.

Its kosher mate - starts https signifying a secure server and has valid DigiCert Certificate. Look for locked padlock to right of the Address bar. When you send information to the website, it is encrypted at your computer and decrypted at the website.
The certificate that is used to encrypt the connection also contains information about the identity of the website owner or organization. You can click the padlock to view the identity of the website.

its a 3rd party seller transaction management program leaves feedback by its self and can list by itself
its aload of s**t dads used it in the past to list lots of items on eBay at once
