Title: Home and work-two different people?
Post by: STMO123 on 31 March 2009, 18:54:51
I've often wondered about the two different faces we present at home and at work. Which one is the real us? My wife, Mo, is leaving her school in Barnsly behind on Friday to take up a lead headship in Sheffield. I have just been sneakily reading some of the messages she got from her work colleagues. People from school, from the LA and parents. They describe her as 'inspirational' in her job and 'a fantastic friend and leader'.

Now hang on a minute. All she does here is eat, fart and watch Coronation Street.

Which one is the real Mo? :-/

 ;D ;D

LOL, has been done by phone in the past, despite making $billions profit, all travel cancelled (even before the Fiscal Fukcup)

But back to the point..............are we different people away from home?
I had a very early lesson in outside behaviour with my dad. When I was young all I can remember is him coming in drunk and throwing his dinner up the wall if he didn't like it. When I was old enough to go into the local for a pint, they all thought the sun shone out of his arse.

I soon put them straight ;)

Yep im different, at work I can flirt with my very hot secretary and that makes me happy.

At home I can do jobs while getting nagged at by the missus to do them her way!

Think I might do some extra time in work!

Is it not a bit like having a 'telephone voice'  :-/

I think we are different at work, personally I don't want swmbo to meet / socialise with those from work and she is the same with her work.  :y
We have different types of relationships with work colleagues, and without being sexist a certainamound of friendly banter and flirting goes on.  I work with mostly all women, swmbo knows this but gets a little jealous, she has met some in the past.

At home we are the real us, we relax and can let our feeling out.
Just my two farthings worth ;D ;D ;D
