wow what an end! Great news for the british all round, got to be pleased for the brawn team considering everything theyve had to deal with. Hamilton worth a mention too, 4th from 18th is pretty good even though there were so many casualties.

I watched the whole thing at work and allthough I have never really been a button fan but he had a good race didn't do a thing wrong all the way and big respect to the Braun team considering they only started testing the car a month ago.
Not a fan of Hamilton niether but again some respect gained for finishing in 4th considering how far of the pace his car seemed throughout practice etc.

Lets hope they keep it up it would be nice to see a 2 british teams with 2 british drivers competing for top honours at the end of the season

mmm. some thoughts.

Maybe all the teams should reduce their staff and halve their drivers pay in order to improve!

Did the organisers have a supply of silver plated hubcaps off different cars to give as trophies depending on the winning teams?

Wouldn't it be nice to have Hamilton and Button 1st and 2nd at the end of the season!

Hamilton now confirmed in 3rd following Trulli being given a 25 second penalty for overtaking Lewis under yellow flags......

Not a Button fan but i was ecstatic for him, Rubens and the whole Brawn team for what they have done this weekend.....

Hope its a sign of a good season to come in F1 this year..........!!

Great weekends racing.

She used to get free tickets to all the Rover cup races in the 90s. Great to watch, as mostly 'less experienced' racers trying to make a name for themselves - plenty of thrills and spills :y

Sorry, I have button down as a loser, in the Henman style.  Also a spoilt brat.  I hope to be proven wrong, but I think he simply had the best car by a mile...

Hamilton 3rd today, could be first in Oz by Mid April.

What a bunch of useless officials. The result should not be subject to appeals but confirmed on the podium even if it means delaying prize giving by up to ten minutes. Clowns.

Totally agree, Martin Brundle said Hamilton was 3rd and then saw the computer and allready worked out what had happened.

Fantastic race for Brawn GP and Jenson Button. :y :y I've always maintained that given a decent car, Button will always get results.
Hamilton also showed just how good a driver he really is to bring a pig handling McLaren home in 4th (3rd) place from the back of the grid.
Great day for the Brits and long may it continue into the season. :y :y

**edit** Have to agree about the cars - ugly as sin with the high narrow rear wing and the enormously wide front wing and those goddam awful wheel covers. :'(

Give it a few weeks and we will have forgot how ugly they are, remember when Benetton raised the nose cone and everyone followed and how we were saying how ugly that idea was!!

back when I used to watch it, every new idea made cars look odd - raised nose, narrower, gradual narrowing of wing, side wings, barge boards etc - but we soon got used to it.

I still think they need to radically reduce wing downforce - once again, virtually no overtaking despite the new rules...

Wait a minute, Hamilton now declared last for lying?!

Some geezer called Michael Schumacher promoted to fourth despite not actually being in the race.

Jarno Trulli got his silver plated Toyota Hubcap trophy back.

Still time for it to all change before Sundays race or the appeal or the counter appeal or the....................

You have got to laugh!
