Never mind, It will be on NTL's On Demand channel or BBC3 this week - something to look forward to. :D
-
Managed to watch it :), certainly scary bit of footage but good he came out of it.
Definately liking the jag and aston very nice 8-)

After waiting in anticipation all day yesterday, watched it last night on NTL On Demand (top channel - watch anything you've missed whenever you want and lots of them are free, including TG).
Bloody brilliant!! :y :y :y JC in top form as always and how moving was it when Hampster made his little speech - nearly brought a tear to my eye. So pleased to see him back in the show again - I don't think TG would be the same anymore without him, and you gotta admire him for allowing the footage of that horrendous crash to be televised, AND to sit there and talk you through it!! :o I thought the road resurfacing bit was bloody hilarious - FOMCL ;D.
A whole hour of TOP entertainment - welcome back Top Gear. :y :y :y

Defiantly Richard is a very brave man to talk you through it you could've heard a pin drop in my living room

And to think JC was anti Richard Hammond joining show - JC push for his old mate Tim Harvey, but producers won that argument. Good job too, as it works really well. Don't get me wrong, Tim Harvey is a nice bloke (had the pleasure of meeting him a number of times), but not suited to that show...

Is that the same Tim Harvey that used to drive in the BTCC?

Yup.

Thought so......he was a pretty good driver too, but I don't think he would have cut it in TG in the way Hampster has. Not that he has't got a decent personality because I've seen him on the box a couple of times, and he has, BUT, just not that special something that the Hampster has got that gels in with James and Jezza. :)

I downloaded it monday night, as I have no TV. Good episode... we were silent when hamster was talking through the crash. I've never usually found that sort of thing hard to watch, but on the first couple of runs he did I was screaming to myself DONT DO IT! Then came the one where he said about it being "the biggest crash you'll ever see" if it goes wrong. Oh the irony.
As always a top show. TV is indeed worth watching again on a Sunday. Unless like me, all your entertainment is internet based.
