If its trying to move, need to lube the runners (not with oil!) - I use that ptfe type spray you get for nylon curtain rails

If mine hasn't been used for a while it sticks and needs several tries to get going  (I am talking about the rear blind in the car !).

Try to get it up every day (sorry - couldn't resist)  :D

Seriously though --- once you have got it lubed use it often --- just to keep things freely moving.

I think that these "rear blind" problems are posted just to humiliate mere CD miggy owners who don't have anything as fancy as a "rear blind".
You are all just showing off. ;D ;D ;D :-* :-*

I've not really found a good use for it yet.  I've used it twice to impress my mates;  A few times it hasn't bothered when I ask it to rise.  Possibly the best use is when a tailgater puts his headlights on.

Don't worry cd-owners.  It's not very useful except for jealousy value.
