granted you have done a lot to it, but technically its still a CD...
I.d say £800 max really, thats on Autotrader with 9 GOOD photos and a good description.
Easily get £600 for it, £800 at a push :y

Trouble with Omega's is once they are old, and 100K + mile they are worth sod all! >:(
If you opt out of the company car you should get some extra £££ per month? - Dad does that, he puts that amount in another account for car money. Save up for a few months get yourself a nice facelift :y

I was offered car allowance but my car being its age apparently is too old and at the time I was thinking have both since doing all the upgrades, so opted for the company car.
May just keep it the missus wants to get behind the wheel of it so maybe. :-/

Not enough so keep it!

So what are the rules for company car and how big is the company - I would see if you could push for yours to be included.
I once has a company car for tax reasons - I did 5000 miles for work in a year so they bought and maintained my Carlton for 18 months

Cheers Martin :y
Heart of Hearts i wanna keep but space will be an issue when the other car comes, shall have to give it some thought.

If I remember right the car mustn't be older than 4yrs or something like that.
Company is HP so pretty big imo.

you'd better check up on that m8, a company should not give a stuff how old your car is. If you opt out they give you money instead of a car, and its your problem to get to work.
My dad has opted out of company car scheme, his is 6 years old still gets money. He could have a classic 70's Jag, but he will still get a fixed car allowance.

Back when I had my meetings regarding the job I asked if I could use my car and the result was it was too old, so they offered me the company car and thats as far as it went really.
Shall give it some thought and chat with the missus either way its staying for 6months then after that who knows.

Sorry Tunnie, but you're wrong! Your Dad's car scheme does state a maximum age and also that it must be of similar style as the benchmark car for his car grade, His manager also has final say on it. That said, no sod ever enforces it.
The car allowance is granted to allow choice of car outside the scheme, but it is still expected to be reliable/maintained and suitable for use if driving a customer. Most companies operate a similar policy.

Sorry Tunnie, Allenm is right for the allowance...

Its worth absolutely nothing Roy! But, being the big hearted fellow that I am, fool to myself, I'll give you £300 for it :D

the extras add little to resale value unfortunately. so we're left with a 2.0 140k 10yr old heavy depreciated car. sorry.
-
You know you want to keep it :y

Yep, I know this for 2 reasons.. I used to be in receipt of the same allowance (I used to work with Tunnie's dad!) and I now don't drive an Omega 'cos I couldn't find one new enough with an optional driver involvement pack :'(

I opted out of the Comany scheme and bought my own and no ones ever asked since. It's all about Company image - I have a friend who is a Financial Adviser and used to run round in a clapped out Veccy diesel - but he's just changed jobs and the new firm has a brand image to keep up - so he's swapped it for a BMW 530 - 2yrs old £24k. :-/

Cheers for all input its much appreciated :y
I was really curious as to what its worth as a mate is looking to buy and was thinking of offering him it.
Still it maybe worth me just sticking to what I had originally planned and run the two cars, I know the missus wants to drive it so may keep it for her.
My original thoughts were its an on going project which I am wanting to keep so I should really stick to that Idea, although I was thinking to upgrade to a V6 in the future.
Cheers Again All
Roy :)
