Just been having a look on Google Earth at some of the places I flew through today and noticed some fishing ponds and lakes I didnt know of and then saw some train lines that I decided to follow on GE.
I know I cant change from the Satelite view on GE so I nipped back on the Google onto the Maps tag and tapped in the same area to look for the rail lines. When I changed to the road view the rail lines dissapeared, now I am sure of the old Google maps they used to mark rails lines with a black line as well as the rivers, water, woods etc.
Matbe it's me and I have gor it wrong again (Again :-[) But either way I am after any Google type maps where I can see the railway lines, and in these cases just mainly single lines.
TIA. :y

Have you tried looking at Ordenance Survey maps

Might the railway lines be underground?

No, they can be seen by Satelite on GE, but on the older Google maps when you flcked from the satelite view they were shown as black lines.

ive just looked at this google earth map and it shows my eldest by the fence. behind the brick wall is the community garden, they put the metal fence up to stop kids going in there, but didnt bother putting any type of lock on it. prattts
