Title: Wife learning to drive
Post by: omegaV6CD on 31 January 2007, 16:08:19
My beloved wife has started driving lessons as she has a Lebanese licence and she never drove since she got it, therefore we thought that it would be better to go through the british process and get a full UK licence.
Given the excuse i got a cheap run arround which is a MK3 Golf 1.4 60ps with 80k with just 200quid no tax or MOT. It passed its MOT last year and since it has done 10 miles, so there is a good chance it will pass again.
The good news is that if i get it taxed and tested i will not have to use the alfa every single day and i won't have to care for supermarket parking any more.
Does anyone have any experiences from MK3 golf? Is it any good?

MK3 Golf. Very well put together car. Solid with a good (if underpowered) 1.4 engine.

You should have very few problems to be honest.

Good choice. :)
