Having a nightmare with this, I make a mould, seal it with polish of vaseline, then the copy sticks to the master, I did use cam cover sealant for one - that sticks like nobodies business.
Any ideas please?

Silicon sealer is shite for this type of stuff.....you need some polyurethane.
-
PVA spray-on "Mould Release".....and Poly-Urethane 'rubber' (e.g: 'flexible' potting compound) as the matrix.
-
So where can I get a small amount of PU rubber from?
Have you guessed what I am trying to make?
Something black and rubbery
And will be rather good.
-
Sikaflex is black polyurethane

Hmm. just check the release agent on a small area for compatibility if you're planning on using yourself as a mould. :-X

I have some white Sikaflex - may make the mould from that.
OK for everyone wondering.
A part you cannot get seperately whice tears and disintegrates.
3 button keyfob buttons - I reckon if I can get it right I could charge a little more for new buttons when I refurb a fob
