is this exceptional?
also anyone know what the mpg is like on a 2.0 16v? :-/ :y

285k is about 170thousand miles ish / i have a 2ltr 16v i find it very good on mpg . im getting about 35mpg around town better on mway

the biggest killer on the 4 pots is stale / old coolant.
Make sure you have a good 50/50 mix of Vx red, i personally change mine every year, its a minimal cost.

2.0l seems to get tired around 175-200k on Omega. If properly serviced, should go on a bit longer.
The dealer did tell me about a 700k TD taxi a couple of years back. No idea if this was a 'Trigger' type comment, ie if its have had 4 engines and 3 bodyshells ;D

I think a few new shells, rebore and head grind would restore that

Hi Martin, no one has answered this bit....
I get about 27 to 28 mpg around town and just over 30 on a very steady run. This depends on how heavy footed you are.
I think maybe the body is a little heavy for the engine, but you still get the comfort!
