It clonks when going over bumps.....its done a fair few miles now...over 180k
Comes from the front i think
Ive had engine/gearbox mounts changed. They were loose/tired
Also roll bar bushes changed..this week...as that was the last diagnosis of what had play in it.
Nothing else seems worn/loose according to garage.
Only thing i can think off is exhaust clonking about.....it had a new one a few months ago.
Im going to get its legs up in the air next week for another check......but if anyones got any ideas why its doing it.....it'll be much appreciated :y
Cheers

If it was Omega I would say check droplinks and wishbones...
-
my moiney would be on worn strut top bearings/bushes at that mileage!!!
its basically a largew rubber donut at he top of the strut that looks very much like the rear donut bushes on the Omega, they dont so much wear but distort,
if you compare old with new you can see what i mean!!

Empty beer cans in the back I reckon ;)

Cheers guys I'll get the garage to check those bits :y.....i wasnt too bothered about it.....
but driver of it complains saying passengers sometimes ask if wheels are going to stay on ;D
-
If it was rear I would say trailing arm rose bushes......
Front....drop links, wishbones and then possibly strutt top mount.

Cheers :y
I went through whats been done to the car.....coz i forget! :-[
It had a new strutt top mount (if thats the donut thingy) on drivers side at last mot.....it failed the mot for it.....maybe passenger side needs doing too now :-/ But it didnt clonk then like its doing now....
So i'll get the garage to check droplinks and wishbones :y
Cheers guys :y
