Title: A polite request
Post by: TheBoy on 19 April 2009, 22:01:18
Can we all take a moment to refamiliarise ourselves with the forum rules, posted at the top of every board....

Thankyou.

No probs.

May I ask the reason for this post?

Or is this due to the recent activity? (If you'll pardon my ignorance)

 :)

Well said TB  :y

I was asked a few weeks ago to add a 'chat page' to the website that i asked you about the other week, by the other commitee members....
They got a answer from me of 'no rather way' ......

I respect your commitment and of the other admins......  :y :y

BTW Google is now indexing it, i submitted a site map, that seemed to help, Thanks  :y :y

Read it.  'Fraid I am guilty of recently bumpinng a couple of newbies back to the top because they got pushed out of sight by ardent welcomers saying "Hi" over a few pages at a time -- for that I apologise. :-[

done. I recently posted an update on one my threads in the general section to share further information and close the thread.

Is that sort of information OK?

Thats fine - extra info to a discussion is no problem at all.  In fact, particularly with problems, we like to know the outcome, and what fix worked :y

Completely agree - its frustrating when people disappear into the ether after asking diagnostic advice.   Its often valuable feedback to know what the problem/fix turned out to be. :y
