hi just a question is the gearbox oil the same for a
manual and a auto.
might sound silly asking but i did have a auto but had that much trouble
with it i went out a brought a manual
gaerbox oil got from main dealer
name GETRIEBEOL DEXRON 2

No. Auto G/box oil is Dextron III

main dealer said for 1996 auto i needed dexron 2
good job i did not use it
can i use dexron 2 for my manual
if not i have 8 litres for sale

Not sure, I'd need to check, but I think the manual box takes a 75SAE type oil, not Dexron II

Though if senny uses ar35, wouldn't Dextron III be better?

'GETRIEBEOL' is not a brand or type, it is just German for 'Transmission Oil', or what we call here 'ATF'.
