Title: someone needs to buy this number plate

Saw it on the School run this morning... on a Mini i think it was....
surely it ought to belong to us here??

Not Omega related, but I saw once a nice one - M3 MAD - but oddly it was on some minicab-looking car - a Toyota Corola or something like that - perhaps the owner had an M3 in a previous life ;D

I also saw an X5 TOY - on a proper X5 (I sanpped it and posted the pictures in another thread)

Then there is a Rolls I see from time to time with S 007....

Perfect plate for a V6 Omega that just had a cambelt failure! ;D

Couple of hundred quid but had to be transferred from retention prior to 1st March 2007. Must have been when the paper would run out...

TBH I don't bother with them these days, was a novelty when I was a teenager but for the priviledge of giving the DLVA an extra £80 every time you change cars I'd rather do without. Most of 'em look pretty crap IMO anyway due to our restrictive numbering system, you can get really cool ones in the US such as KILLER :D

Many moons ago I used to work for Ford. Cars with OO plates used to be their specials - I owned an early MK2 Granada that had discs all round - great for stopping, an absolute nightmare trying to get bits for! Not sure if the still do this (or even can with the new DVLA licensing set up).

I checked out a personal plate last weekend on DVLA, M66 OOF, £250 :y

Beautiful? New shape? I didn't realise they'd released a Vectra D already, cos even Stevie Wonder wouldn't describe the Vectra C as anything other than ugly. :-/

Aaah the X3, for the to55er who can't quite afford the monthly repayments on an X5 ::)

I guess the W4 NKR plate is too expensive too ;)

Oh so true, if I was going to buy an off roader it would be from Solihull - notably a Def.ender V8 with gas conversion

But still not quite as ugly as the current range of beemers.... ;)

Whilst not the prettiest car I've ever seen, particularly the front, its not so bad. The front is a bit Toyata-ish at the front for my taste, but each to their own...
