Just been chatting to the girl that lives a couple of doors up the road. She went out this morning to find 4 flat tyres on her car. ALL had been slashed. Shes a bit iffy about claiming as shes just had a payout when someone bumped her. £200 for 4 tyres on her little ford ka. Had a word with the Tyreservices guy she called out, and it turns out thats about the 20th ford ka in less than a week!!!!! Plod apparantly have a fair idea that its to kids in particular but as yet cant prove anything. Supposedly they pick a different make/model of car every month!!! Words almost fail me >:( >:( >:( >:(

Little bastards...... :-/ :-/

They probally chose the Ka becouse they cant spell any other model.

If the cops have an idea they should go around to their homes and have a word with the parents, just give them a gypsies warning as they say.
Little tinkers need a good slap, bring back the good old days when parents could chastise their kids for being out of order.........never did me any harm, a slap around the ear.......i used to get the belt as a kid, showed me right from wrong, some of you may say no to the chastising the kids..........rubbish. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Jealousy really is a terrible thing.
These lowlifes can't be arsed to make anything of themselves and maybe earn something nice, so make a living of upsetting those who try.
How on earth did we get into this state :'(

Mines just a £400 car....But that aint the point though is it?? :'(

One of the main problems i think is there is no real threat of, or fear of punishment. If they do turn out to be kids then they`ll probly get what amounts to a firm telling off and a smack on the wrist?? While in the meantime laughing at their victims - most of who wont claim insurance due to policy excess or to keep some no-claims. But its happening in the wee small hours, so where the hell do the parents think they are??? >:( >:(
-
threat of punsihement is almost secondary.
What happened to knowing right from wrong, and acting accordingly
Theft to feed a family (or even drug habbit) I can understand, but mindless vandalism that noone benefits from I just cant get my head round.

I was a bit of a tea leaf in my teens, not much good at it got put away a couple of times, all over by the time i hit 20.
One thing i never did & still don't understand is vandalism. If you steal something you get to keep or sell it. Not right i know but there is a point. What do you gain from keying a car, smashing a window, kicking a wall etc? Why bother?

whilst i was on duty last night i kept the cctv on a group of 6 males 18 to 20yrs old and 2 females at the maccys on site....well they wherea bit loud and lairy......and to cut it short we ended up with 2 shops having traffic cones hurled at the windows and luckily they did not break so police got called and 2 of the lads ended up with £80 penalty fines......somehow i dont think they will pay...now will they?? :-/

As has been said, there's no deterant now even if they don't pay it. In less PC times, Guy got a proper bollocking & learned his lesson from it, and is now a pillar of the local community! ;) ;) ;) :y :y :y

No No NO!
You need a less powerful car.
Just so it lasts longer and you have to try harder! ;)
