Title: I've done something very very stupid
Post by: Del Boy on 28 April 2009, 20:35:33
Right well about 5 years ago I had a bit of cash and bought a very nice genuine Rolex, now couple of months back I put it in a draw and i'm absolutley buggered if I can find it. The mrs. swears blind she hasn't touched it (bit dubious to be honest) and my son didn't even know where it was. I'm absolutley tearing this house apart (and getting moaned at for it) so not really a happy bunny right now  :'( :'(

When you're looking for something else. I misplaced an old building society pass book years ago. I found it a couple of years back. With interest it had £120.00 in the account, but it was in joint names with my ex & so we had £60.00 each  :'( :-X

Where do lost/misplaced things go.

Sorry can't resit this.    Dr Who been there and there's been Time Travel.

Joking apart, take your time to look for it.  Don't get wound up.
East London sense of humour.

Seriously tho, be methodical. Hope you find it and it turns up. Good luck

Has your Mrs sold it?  ;D

I can never find a thing..... my top draw is a total mess but I know if I need something it will be in there.... women don't seem to understand that... so they tidy your draw up for you........ so the next time your looking for something you go to your top draw where you know you would have put it.... and guess what.... it ain't there >:(

Bet your Mrs has moved it mate and forgotten where, and when you do find it, you will know you didn't put it there.... and so will she  ;D ;D ;D

We lost 2 sets of car keys, Mig and Citroen on the same ring, daughter managed it between the drive and the house, £300 to replace both at dealer prices, had the house turned inside out and that was nealy a year ago. Now considering an insurance claim. :'(

The last time I lost an expensive watch I had to give up looking as the pain in the butt fairies had obviously taken it.

I found it by accident a couple of months later. Then I remembered what had happened. We had been out one night and I decided to wear my watch. As we got home I thought I would put my watch somewhere 'safe' and popped it into my suit jacket. That's where it had stayed all that time

Bet you're pleased. Found the watch, can blame the trouble (trouble and strife)(wife) 'cos it was her who tidied up and put it some where safe.   Oh yes, West Ham to win. (do we really want to be in The Europa tournament tho?)

Well done. TIME for a beer to celebrate :y :y :y :y   Bubbles

Your £50 is secure.  It wasn't in the last place you looked, it was in the last place your wife looked!
