I'm half way through rebuilding a V6 head...
All the stem seals I am removing, albeit high mileage, aren't showing any sign of wear whatsoever!
Found the manifold blows though - composite gaskets were used..... :y

Be better when it is finished.
When are you going to match up a 3.0 inlet divider?
I'm off to get a washing tray tomorrow (mine has gone) and I am going to clean the dismantled head, clean valves then commence the rebuild

Docs on there way to you James as we speak :y

I'm pretty sure in principle I'm ok on how to port - just not entirely sure on the tools people are using :y
That said, it would be good to pop up - you will probably want a hand lifting the heads onto the block, when the time comes...
(It can be done alone, but always easier with two...)

That would be 25-27 May roughly ;D
Thanks for the offer
Head porting, you need a file, round about 8mm or so, a minidrill is usefull for taking out lumps the files can't reach.
